Description - What to expect
Depart from the city center of Tromsø by bus and begin your Tromso Dog Sledding adventure. After a 90-minute scenic journey, you’ll reach the remote valley of Tamokdalen, where our wilderness camp is located.At Camp Tamok, your guide will warmly welcome you and provide all the necessary gear—thermal suits, boots, and gloves—to keep you warm and comfortable throughout the day. After a briefing and driving instructions, it’s time to set off on your unforgettable Tromso Dog Sledding experience.
You’ll share a sled with another guest, taking turns as musher and passenger. One of you will lead a team of energetic huskies through snowy trails, while the other enjoys the ride as a passenger. Midway, you’ll switch roles so everyone gets to enjoy both the excitement of steering and the thrill of gliding across the Arctic wilderness.
Once back at camp, you’ll have time to visit the dog yard before relaxing with a hot meal and warm drink by the fire inside a traditional lavvu (Sámi tent).
The adventure continues with a visit to the Tromsø Ice Domes Snow Park. Stroll through mesmerizing snow and ice sculptures, explore the snow maze, and discover our beautifully illuminated domes. Outside, meet the Arctic’s most iconic animals—cuddle the huskies and visit the reindeer nearby.
After a magical day filled with husky sledding, Arctic landscapes, and ice art, it’s time to board the bus and return to Tromsø, carrying lasting memories of your incredible Tromso Dog Sledding tour.

The tour requires strength and fitness from all our guests, and a good physical condition is necessary to participate.◾Our guides are entitled to deny drivers and passengers to join this tour out of health and safety reason.
◾Cancellation due to weather: For the safety of animals and guests, there’s a small risk of cancellation in dangerous surface conditions (bad weather conditions). In those cases you will be offered to reschedule your tour to a different venue or time slot, another substitute product, or a full refund.
◾Please advise us in advance of any food allergies or dietary restrictions: we will provide an alternative option. If no notice is given in advance an extra fee of 150 NOK will be charged.
