Quality in hosting is our motto in Gofreedly. We expect that our suppliers adhere to high standards of quality services. We promote and support hosts and suppliers that are managing their bookings in a professional, friendly, welcoming, and thoughtful way. They always try to offer a unique perspective to visitors and share their knowledge and experiences. Small details in the description and presentation of the tour/activity are important. That's why we review and consult our suppliers extensively to create listings that can make the difference between the ordinary and the exceptional. As part of our quality policy, we will engage in verification of the proposed activities process before a listing goes online to ensure a high level of quality in offered services.
We value suppliers that are welcoming, engaging, connect with the Guests, and make them feel special during their experience. Your guests are going to appreciate a lot better what you are offering if your mindset is to provide an excellent experience for them that will be remembered. When describing your experience, emphasize details you think Guests might want to know. Don't take for granted that your visitors are familiar with your craft, or have similar experiences to you. Make them understand what you are offering and what it involves in detail.
When you have welcomed your Guests be considerate about their cultural, dietary, and language needs. Be flexible to adapt to unforeseen circumstances and never give the blame to them if something does not work as it was planned. It is your sole responsibility to make things run smoothly, and this entails that you have prepared yourself in advance, including good communication with your guests before the day of their arrival.
If a supplier receives consistently bad reviews, we will have no option but to delete the account.
Your listing should look great
Guests make their booking decisions based on the clarity of description, the interest of the offered services, issues of safety and security, and last but not least, value for money.
Make sure you fill the listing form as required using good English, giving an accurate description of the services you provide, and what is makes it so unique. Make sure that what you describe is precisely what you are offering. Don't give false information or present your offered experience in an exaggerated manner.
guests will want to know what they get for what they pay, so give concise information about the schedule of the activity, describe the things that are included in the price and things that Guests must take care of themselves, and give descriptive information about the place you are meeting them and the venue of events or activity.
Finally, keep your price to a competitive level that is acceptable to potential guests, taking into consideration similar offers and prices charged by your competitors. However, travelers are willing to pay something extra, provided that they see the value in it.
Your photos
Good quality photos are essential. They are a window for the guests, allowing them to visualize how the offered activity will be. It’s critical that the photos you are submitting are clear, inspiring, and showcase what you want to tell your guests. In particular, your cover photo should talk for itself and give a visual representation of your activity or the house you are sharing.
Include photos with your guests to highlight how you engage them in the activity and how you welcome them. Use your gallery to tell your story and leave no dought to your guests of what to expect. Upload up to 10 photos, preferably all the same size. You should never use pictures that have copyright restrictions attached to them.
Your commitment
Commitment to reservations done by suppliers is a must. Supplier and Hosts must honor all reservations unless there is an emergency or unavoidable circumstance (please see our cancellations policy for details).
It's essential to be accurate and fulfill reasonable expectations of guests based on your information provided in your listing. Never let your guest wonder what is next. Provide them with all you have included in your listing and give a thorough briefing about the activity at the start to familiarise and prepare them for the actual event. Make sure all is well organized and take no risks when it comes to safety considerations. Before the start of the experience, the supplier should ensure a valid insurance policy covering guests is in place.
