Description - What to expect
Take a Kos boat trip north of the Island and visit two less-known Aegean gems. Relax on board the boat during the trip to Pserimos, a beautiful and small island with only 60 inhabitants. Spend some time here enjoying the sun, water, and the relaxing atmosphere prevalent on the island. Walk around and sit in one of the local taverns or cafes, located directly on the beach.Depart from Pserimos at 12:30, cruising towards the small island of Plati. Drop anchor near the coast of the island to enjoy some free time to swim while the crew prepares lunch. Lunch will be served at around 14:00 and consists of Greek dishes such as souvlaki, salad, tzatziki and fruit.
Continue your Kos boat trip to Kalymnos and visit its capital Pothia. Experience one of the most colorful towns of the Dodecanese. Stroll down to one of the many sponge factories of Pothia. Kalymnos is famous for its sponge divers. Learn the history of sponge diving, and watch a demonstration of cutting and bleaching sponges. Enjoy plenty of free time to walk through the small streets of Pothia, and discover the shops of the main town.
