Description - What to expect

Start your Papal Audience experience in the morning heading to the appropriate congregation venue. Depending on the time of year and the number of viewers, the Papal Audience takes place either in Saint Peter’s Square or the magnificent Audience Hall of the Cathedral.

As the suspense builds, the Pope himself will emerge from the Vatican. Watch as he listens to the different communities present in the audience. If you are lucky, you will be able to touch the Pope as he rounds the square in a special vehicle. Be sure to have your camera ready!

At the end of the Papal Audience, enjoy a delicious lunch and then continue your experience with a visit to the remarkable Vatican Museums to explore its classical sculpture galleries, tapestries, and most important paintings. Your guide will take you to see some impressive collections including the Laocoon and Apollo Belvedere, the Candelabra, the Tapestries, and the Maps Gallery
