Description - What to expect

◾ Day 1: Arrival Cairo – Welcome to the land of the Pharaoh’s
Your tour manager will meet and assist you at Cairo International Airport, and he will escort you to the hotel by exclusive air-conditioned deluxe vehicle. At the hotel, you will be assisted with a smooth check-in and review of your Ancient Egypt tour itinerary to establish and confirm pick-up times for each tour. Enjoy a welcome drink!

◾ Day 2: Pyramids and Cairo Sightseeing
Enjoy your breakfast at your hotel in Cairo and then meet your guide who will accompany you to the Giza Plateau to visit and get impressed by the only one left of the seven wonders of the ancient world, the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinus, famous Sphinx and Valley temple facing the great statue.

Get amazed by the gigantic structures and the craftsmanship of the ancient builders. Then enjoy lunch at a good quality local restaurant before you are transferred to the city center for a visit to the Egyptian Museum to marvel at unique ancient masterpieces. Continue to Coptic Cairo to visit the Hanging Church and Ben Ezra Synagogue before you visit the famous Khan El Khalili, Cairo’s old bazaar. After a long day, you will be driven back to your hotel to enjoy your dinner and relax.

◾ Day 3: Fly to Luxor – Nile Cruise Tour
You are picked up from your hotel and driven to the airport to catch your morning flight to Luxor. Upon your arrival, you will be met and assisted and then taken by an air-conditioned vehicle to your cruise for check-in. After lunch on board, enjoy a visit to the impressive Karnak Temples and Luxor Temple, and finish your day with a delicious dinner onboard your cruise.

◾ Day 4: Luxor Nile Cruise Excursion
After breakfast on your Nile cruise, take an excursion to the royal cemetery for 62 Pharaohs, the famous Valley of the Kings, then to the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, which was built by the architects of the New Kingdom Pharaoh Hatshepsut in the 15th century BC. Then, head to the Colossi of Memnon before enjoying your lunch. In the afternoon, sail to Edfu, enjoying a leisurely dinner on board. Overnight on board Nile Cruise.

◾ Day 5: Edfu and Kom Ombo Temples excursion
After breakfast on Nile Cruise, visit the well-preserved Ptolemaic Temple dedicated to Horus at Edfu. Sail to Kom Ombo to see the unique Temple of Sobek, dedicated to Sobek, the crocodile god, and Horus, the falcon-headed god. Have your lunch on board as you cruise to Aswan. Dinner and overnight on board your Nile Cruise.

◾ Day 6: Aswan Nile Cruise Tour
After breakfast on the Nile cruise, enjoy a day’s sightseeing in Aswan. Start with the High Dam and the most giant known ancient obelisk, located in the northern region of the stone quarries of ancient Egypt, the Unfinished Obelisk. Continue to the beautiful Temple of Philae, which is devoted to the two goddesses Isis and Hathor. Dinner and overnight on board a deluxe Nile Cruise.

◾ Day 7: Fly back from Aswan to Cairo
Disembark from your Nile cruise after breakfast and get a transfer to the airport for your flight back to Cairo. Upon your arrival, you will be assisted and driven to your hotel. You will have plenty of time to explore Cario by yourself or just relax in the tranquillity of your hotel.

◾ Day 8: Departure day
Enjoy your breakfast, and still have time for yourself before you are transferred to Cairo International Airport for your departure.

Free cancellation is available for this Ancient Egypt tour one month before the start of the experience. A 50% refund applies for cancellations up to 15 days before departure. If you cancel your booking within 15 days before the start of the tour you will receive no refund
