Description - What to expect
Your Punta Cana buggy tour starts with a convenient pick-up at your hotel and a drive to the Flintstone Buggy Adventure Ranch located just 2km from the center of Bavaro. After arriving at the Ranch you'll receive a short briefing on how to drive your buggy safely and be provided with your safety helmet which you also need for the visit to the caves.The Flintstone Buggy Trail has a length of 10 km (about 6.25 miles) and takes you through a variety of landscapes and amazing countryside where you can see donkeys, cows, horses, sheep, pigs, and many different types of birds. After about 25 minutes of driving, the first stop is at a typical Dominican Campo and the local “colmado” (a small grocery store) where participants can taste some real Dominican coffee.
Around 15 minutes later the Punta Cana Buggy tour continues off-road offering breathtaking views. Travel past colorful houses and across the amazing landscape of banana plantations and farmland. The trail gets even more rocky and wild, and there are some panoramic views of the cliffs that have been formed over millions of years.
Next to your Punta Cana Buggy tour is the so-called “Cave of Fantasy”. Get some brief instructions and enter the cave to admire magnificent and huge illuminated stalactites and stalagmites.
