About the property

Archontiko Mytilineou Skretaion is our family house for over a century (1841). Distinguished people have lived here ever since, and the place is considered to be of historical importance. Now it has been renovated, and since December of 2015 is used as a traditional guesthouse.

Our guesthouse is an all-season destination, located in Neochori, a village in South Pelion. From here, due to its privileged location, our guests can have easy access to the different places around Pelion. The guesthouse is set amidst a lush pine tree forest, at an altitude of 450 meters with the nearest beach on both the Aegean sea or Pagasitikos gulf being only 10 minutes drive. The building is stone and wood build. The interior is decorated with family artifacts, some of them dating from the 16th century.

Our fully equipped rooms feature comfortable beds (king size), hand made decorations, private bathrooms with handmade tiles and amenities such as mini-fridge, LCD HD TV 32", Radio CD MP3 player, air-conditioning, safe box, towels, vanity mirror, hairdryer, personal care cosmetics, slippers, towels/bathrobes, ironing device, and individual heating.

Free WiFi is available in all rooms and common spaces. Handmade traditional breakfast (awarded with a gold prize from the Greek Hospitality Awards) is served each morning in our restaurant. Food ingredients are sourced from local producers, and some of them are our production. For groups, we can offer lunch or dinner based on our menu or tailor-made menus with special requirements (vegan, vegetarian, etc.).

Inside the mansion, our guests will be able to visit our library (a wide selection of books), use our business center and our recreational area, which is equipped with board games, PS4, blue ray, and home cinema.

In our large garden, our guests can admire fantastic views, walk through the plants and trees, or use our seasonal certified from EU and awarded outdoor eco-pool. Disinfection of the water is done by salt electrolysis, which means we do not use chlorine as a disinfector.
