Overview
Enjoy a unique 30-minute reindeer sleigh ride around a frozen valley just 25 minutes from the city of Tromsø in Norway. Feed some of the 300 reindeers in the farm before indulging in a hot traditional meal cooked over the fire in a traditional gamme and learn about the fascinating Sami culture.

Description - What to expect
After picked up from Tromso city centre, you’ll board a coach for a 25 minutes drive to the reindeer camp, a traditional farm placed in Tromso’s frozen wastelands. On arrival, your local guide will introduce you to the traditional Sami lifestyle and culture and will make sure that you get a glimpse of life in the Arctic.Your experience starts with an exciting sledding ride of approximately 30 minutes enjoying the beauty of the snow-covered landscape as you glide through the forest and next to the water. After the ride, get off your sleigh and feed some of the magnificent wild reindeer.
After all of the action, you will have time to taste a hot traditional Sami soup cooked over the fire and warm up with steaming coffee, tea or hot chocolate inside a warm candlelit gamme (Traditional Sami Hut), while listening to stories derived from ancient Sami culture. However, the authentic Sami experience wouldn't be complete without the chance to enjoy aJoik performance, a traditional Sami folk song.
The tour concludes with a 25 minutes ride back to central Tromso.
