Enjoy an exciting snowmobile safari adventure to the pristine Tamok valley, north of Norway, just 50 minutes drive from Tromsø, and enjoy spectacular views of the Arctic sea and the Lyngen Alps. No previous experience is required. You only need to bring with you your driving license!

Description - What to expect

After picking you up from Tromsø we will be heading to Tamok Valley on an approximately 1.5-hour drive in the Nordic wilderness. Along the way admire the stunning snow-covered landscapes. Upon arrival at Camp Tamok, dress in warm winter gear and begin the adventure with thorough safety instructions and a practical demonstration.

It is then time to follow our 11 km snowmobile ice fishing track that leads you between the snow-covered mountains up to a frozen lake. Lake Finn marks the halfway point of our snowmobiling adventure and is a good place to take photos, play in the snow, drive faster, and, if weather conditions permit, try some ice fishing. You will drive in pairs with one driver and one passenger per snowmobile and plenty of opportunities to switch places during the two-hour snowmobiling adventure.

After driving back down the trail we will serve you a hot meal in a traditional North Norwegian setting around the open fire in a reindeer herder’s tent. After relaxing and warming up, it is time to head back to Tromso and tick another adventure off your bucket list.
