Description - What to expect

Your Tromso snowmobile starts with a pick-up at Samuel Arnesens gate 7, and then a 90-minute drive through the spectacular arctic landscape until you reach Camp Tamok which is the start and endpoint of your adventure. Upon arrival, we provide you with all the warm clothes and boots necessary. Your Tromso snowmobile adventure begins with a thorough safety introduction and a practical demonstration of riding a snowmobile. You do not need any previous skills to drive a snowmobile. All you need is a good physical condition.

You will be driving in pairs, one driver and one passenger on each snowmobile, with the opportunity to switch places during the trip. The tour will bring you past scenic mountains, through the snow-covered Finn Valley, starting at 250m above sea level. You will be on this snowmobiling adventure for approximately 2 hours, depending on the weather and snow conditions.

After driving back down the trail and parking the snowmobiles, we will serve you a hot meal in a traditional North Norwegian setting around the open fire in a reindeer herder’s tent. During peak season, we might split the group to avoid large groups. Half of the group will start with a hot meal in the traditional North Norwegian setting before heading out to the mountains on the snowmobiles. After relaxing and warming up, it is time to head back to Tromsø for the completion of your Tromso snowmobile experience.
