Description - What to expect

Take a Dublin kayaking and ride through Dublin city center, paddling past some of the city’s most iconic landmarks. Explore both the old and new quarters and discover Dublin in a remarkable way. Spend approximately 1.5 hours kayaking on the beautiful River Liffey, and you may even spot the Irish dolphin!

No previous experience is necessary, and Dublin kayaking is accessible to all—old and young, sporty and not so sporty. You’ll travel in a stable double-seater kayak, and there will be a small support boat in case anyone gets tired and needs a short tow to take a break. After your Dublin kayaking experince return to the start point location, a short walk from the city center.

Bring with you

For this Dublin kayaking please come dressed and ready for the experience! There are no toilets or customer changing facilities on site. Do not arrive in your best clothes, jeans or high heels.

◾ Dress appropriately for the weather, with clothing and footwear you don’t mind getting damp. ◾ Shorts or leggings are ideal in the summer and warmer trousers for winter paddling.
◾ Extra clothing layers are always a good idea to have available, especially for fall/winter paddling. Layers made of fleece or synthetic materials that dry quickly are ideal. You may also bring a towel for use following the tour if desired.

Prepare for the experience

All our kayaks are doubles and triples. We think it's much more fun with a minimum of two people in each kayak but if you really want to fly solo we can put you in a small double kayak.
