Description - What to expect

Following your pickup from your hotel in Funchal, pass through the traditional fishing village of Câmara de Lobos and then continue to Cabo Girão, the second-highest sea cliff in the world and the highest sea cliff in Europe.



Next in the Madeira Tour, head to Ribeira Brava and drive north, through the deep and narrow valleys of Serra D'Água. Upon arrival at Encumeada, at the top of the valley, you will have the chance to enjoy a spectacular view of both the south and the north coast.



From sea level in Funchal, cross the mountain pass (from where both sides of the island are visible) and travel down to the rugged beauty of the north coast, where Atlantic rollers describe a line of white surf below heroic cliffs.



Next, travel to Madeira's north coast to visit São Vicente, one of the most predominant villages of Madeira. Continue the Madeira Tour to the beautiful village of Porto Moniz, where you will have approximately 1 hour for lunch as well as time to admire the fantastic volcanic swimming pools. After lunch, traverse Madeira's highest plateau with all its spectacular panoramas moving to your final destination, Paul da Serra, to see one of the biggest natural reserves in the world before you finally make your way back to Funchal.
