Description - What to expect

Start your wineries and wine tasting tour with a pick up from Kamari or Thera. Meet your expert guide and proceed to visit three of the best wineries on the island. Taste some excellent quality Santorinian wines and learn about the history of winemaking in Santorini famous for its grape varieties grown on volcanic soil.

Visit Venetsanos winery, located in the most breathtaking location, with incredible views over the Caldera and the entire island. The winery was established in 1947 and is famous for its top-quality volcanic wines. The winery today offers you the chance to walk through and discover the history and tradition as well as modern winemaking techniques. Take a tour of the winery guided by an expert and taste some of the aromatic wines available.

Next, visit Argyros Estate to learn about its history and an introduction to the indigenous grapes of Santorini. Taste a selection of 4 vintage wines, accompanied by an assortment of fine Greek cheese and breadsticks.

Continue with a visit to Artemis Karamolegos Winery. Take a tour of the winery and explore its premises while learning about the history and the tradition of Santorianian winemaking. Taste 3 different wines and sit down to enjoy a light lunch exquisitely prepared local dishes and traditional flavors.
