Description - What to expect

Your wild Wicklow tour starts with a convenient pickup from Dublin city. Your guide will introduce himself and explain the Itinerary for the day. He will also give you the history of Dublin and Ireland while driving away from the city.

The first stop on this Wild Wicklow tour is the "Powerscourt House and Gardens" - voted the 3rd most beautiful gardens in the world by National Geographic, and they are worth a visit. Within the gardens, there is a cafe and shops where you can relax for a while after walking the gardens. You will spend approx 1.5 hours here.

For lunch, you will visit the small town of Enniskerry before continuing your wild Wicklow tour through the Mountains Park, stopping along the way at some scenic locations for some great photo opportunities. Visit the Sally Gap, Lough Tay, and the Guinness Estate, the "PS I Love You" bridge while making our way toward Glendalough.

Once you reach Glendalough's "Valley of the two lakes" visit the monastery of St Kevin dating back to the 6th century. Your guide will bring you through the monastery and give you some of its history and meaning to the Irish people.

At this point, you are given some free time to explore the valley and its two lakes for approximately 1.5 hours before we make our way back to Dublin on a slightly different route.

◾It’s highly recommended that you wear comfortable shoes/boots when you add horse riding to your experience. The experience is suitable for both beginners and experienced riders. You’ll be provided with horse-riding equipment. Make sure to wear trousers on the date of the tour if you pick this package. The maximum weight requirement for males is 15 stone (210 pounds/95 kilograms). For females, it’s 16 stone (224 pounds/102 kilograms), Minimum age requirement: Age 13.
