Take a Kyoto cooking class and discover typical Japanese cooking that goes on in everyday homes and the so-called 'Izakaya' restaurants (Japanese-style pubs!) Spend an afternoon learning how to prepare authentic Japanese dishes. Dress in traditional Buddhist monk wears to enhance your experience.



Kyoto cooking class Itinerary

- Be welcomed by our friendly staff with delicious green tea

- Dress up as a Buddist monk while your instructor explains your cooking class experience

- Learn how to cook Dashi Broth (soup stock for Japanese cuisine) and a variety of seasonings (soy sauce, mirin, sake, miso, etc)

- Cook up to 3 typical Japanese dishes which are often made in Japanese homes

- Have a break and enjoy a meal. Eat your creations in the company of other participants

- Rejoin the group for the second part of your cooking class and learn to cook up to two dishes

- Before your Kyoto cooking class comes to an end sit down and enjoy once your newly learned Japanese creations

Free Cancellation

For this Kyoto cooking class experience;
We will charge a cancellation fee of 100% if booking is cancelled 23 hour or less before the event
We will charge a cancellation fee of 50% if booking is cancelled 2 days or less before the event
We will charge a cancellation fee of 20% if booking is cancelled 13 days or less before the event
