Description - What to expect

Your full-day Catalonia hiking tour to the Collsacabra cliffs and the picturesque medieval town of Rupit starts with a pick-up from Barcelona and about one and a half-hour drive on a comfortable minivan through the breathtaking landscapes of Catalonia.

Once you reach Rubit, one of Catalunya's lesser-known, yet amazingly beautiful places, start your hiking tour to the impressive cliffs and forests that surround it. During your Catalonia hiking enjoy stunning views of the Collsacabra mountain range.

Your hiking trail will wind through beautiful forests and will take you to a natural terrace with breathtaking views of the Susqueda reservoir and the surrounding areas. On your way, you will see the famous Salt de Sallent, the highest waterfall in Catalonia at about 115 meters. If you are lucky you might even spot one of the great eagles gliding the skies over you!

After about 3 hours of hiking return back to Rupit, to explore the picturesque cobbled streets and alleys of the town and enjoy a traditional Catalan lunch in a local restaurant before returning to Barcelona.
