Description - What to expect

Head out of Rome with your private driver to the wooded hills of Castelli Romani on a 5-hour wine tasting and pasta making class tour. You’ll visit the famous winemaking region of Frascati and the esteemed Antico Casale Minardi estate to taste wines and other Italian delicacies.

Start from Antico Casale, where you’ll meet the winemaker and then tour the vineyard and cellars. At the winery, you can learn how the wine is produced, and maybe even sample a grape fresh off of the vine. This tour also includes an amazing culinary experience, and you will be welcomed by a professional chef who will teach you how to cook traditional Italian pasta.

After your winery tour, you will sit down for a wine tasting session, sampling three varieties of wine that are produced in the region. The first wine you will taste is a white Frascati DOCG, which means the wine has its designation of origin guaranteed. The second is a red wine IGP, which has a protected geographical indication. And last but not least, taste a sweet Cannellino wine. Each wine is paired with a delicious Italian specialty, such as Roman pizza or Minardi olive oil, as well as in-season fruits and vegetables from the garden.
