Description - What to expect

Take a private Andes hiking tour and enjoy an adventure in pristine mountains in one of the most popular parks in the Andes, the Yerba Loca Nature Sanctuary, nestled in a magnificent valley. Admire pine tree forests, blue glacier-water rivers, and look out for eagles and Chilean condors flying high in the sky.

Breathe in the clean mountain air and enjoy fantastic views, especially of Cerro La Paloma, with its snow-capped peaks year-round. Explore the Villa Paulina base camp or go with your guide on a 2-hour hike through the valley. Then, enjoy an optional traditional Chilean food and drinks such as 'empanadas' (meat or cheese pastries) and 'mote con huesillo' (a sweet non-alcoholic drink with dried peaches)

Prepare for the experience - Things to know before you go

◾ During the winter months (May-September), if Yerba Loca Nature Sanctuary is not accessible we substitute with Aguas de Ramon Park and hike to a beautiful waterfall
