Description - What to expect

Take the opportunity for some authentic food and wine tasting experience on the beautiful island of Milos. Products and recipes are perfectly paired with exclusive wine tasting sessions. After the wine tasting session, you will embark on a food tour visiting some of the main production units of local produce, such as wine and cheese, and taste the typical delicacies of Milos with stops in the most renowned restaurants of the island.

Your first stop is at Pollonia, the gastronomic capital of Milos, for the first bite of local savory delicacies, like tomato fritters and pitarakia. While in Pollonia, you are going to visit Koufeto, one of the most renowned family-owned pastry shops, to taste the Koufeto, the traditional local desert. Next, go to Plaka, the capital of Milos, and explore the unique taste of the local watermelon pie. While you are still in Plaka, visit one of the best restaurants in town for some pleasant-tasting of local and traditionally cooked food.

Next, travel to Adamas, to visit a family-owned cheese production unit, to taste some of the most excellent cheese on the island. Finally, go to Paliochori, on the south coast of Milos, for the unique food tasting experience of meals cooked in volcanic sand. End your tour with a visit to a winery in Pollonia, for some more wine tasting of local varieties of volcanic wine.
