Your day trip to Ballestas Islands starts with an early pick-up from your hotel and a drive on a bus for 300 km on the Pan-American highway until you reach Paracas Bay, a place of great importance for Peruvian history with abundant wildlife.Visit the famous Ballestas Islands and watch out for birds, sea lions, dolphins, and penguins. Then, after a short stop at the city of Ica drive to a small winery to learn how Pisco is made and to enjoy a tasting.
Continue your Ballestas Islands with a stop at the famous Huacachina Oasis, and take some time to have your lunch and walk around. A number of activities are available here such as sandboarding and buggy ride. At the end of your day tour, head back to Lima in the same way.
