Description - What to expect

Start your Dolomite road trip with a convenient pick-up at the center of Venice and head to the beautiful Italian countryside! On the way, drive through Conegliano, the home of Prosecco. Your driver will be happy to make photo stops along the route, so you can enjoy the lush scenery. Arrive at Lake Santa Croce, to marvel at the calm waters that mirror the pine forests and mountain peaks that surround it. Then, head to Pieve di Cadore, where the artist, Titian, spent his childhood years in the late 15th century. Enjoy a short walk and try some of the delicious local products.

After a pleasant break, head to Tre Cime di Lavaredo at 2,360 meters above sea level! Tre Cime itself offers breathtaking panoramas over the surroundings. Enjoy the breeze on your skin as you admire the most enchanting views you can imagine!

Then, drive to Cortina d’Ampezzo, which hosted the Winter Olympics in 1956 and is known as a world-class destination for winter sports, enjoyed by both experts and beginners. There’s plenty to do at other times of the year too! Along with enjoying the scenery, visitors can visit the Miramonti Majestic Grand Hotel, which was featured in the James Bond film “For Your Eyes Only.” On a clear day, take the cable car to Faloria for a delightful view over the town or do some shopping at the famous Cooperativa di Cortina.

Your last stop in this Dolomite road trip is Lake Misurina, an idyllic place to enjoy lunch. There is no better place for a picnic, as you take in the spectacular views of Mount Sorapiss and the Marmarole mountains.
