Embark on an unforgettable Crete kayaking experience that begins with a convenient pick-up from either Heraklion or Agios Nikolaos. Arrive at the starting point in Elounda, where you'll be warmly greeted by your expert instructor who will provide a comprehensive briefing on kayak handling techniques and safety precautions. Once you're ready, set off on your adventure, paddling through the crystal-clear waters of Elounda Bay.

Along the way, you'll discover a series of scenic and secluded beaches, including the picturesque Plaka, Tsifliki, Alikies, and more. Take advantage of the opportunity to swim or snorkel, immersing yourself in the refreshing waters of the Aegean Sea. Follow your experienced tour leader as you soak in the breathtaking views of the iconic Spinalonga islet. Depending on the group's experience level, you can choose between two routes.

The shorter option covers approximately 12 kilometers within the Elounda bay, while the longer route involves circumnavigating the Kolokitha peninsula, spanning around 20 kilometers. Regardless of the chosen route, a visit to Spinalonga Island is guaranteed, unless inclement weather necessitates adjustments to the itinerary.

Bring with you

Bring a 1.5lt of water with you (ideally in small bottles), sunglasses, hat, sunscreen, swimsuit, lycra shirt, or any t-shirt, preferably with UV protection. You will also need shoes that you do not mind getting soaked as you will get your feet wet. Ideally, a light neoprene shoe will work great.

If the weather is too windy and the trip is canceled you are entitled to a full refund. If it is windy only around Spinalonga we will paddle in calm waters nearby the island. In this case, if the group stills want to visit the island this can be arranged with a local boat for an additional cost of 10-12 euros.
