Description - What to expect

Take a full-day boat cruise and explore some of the most beautiful fjord landscapes in the whole of Norway. Experience the unbelievable nature in this region while cruising the expanse of Lofoten by catamaran. Immerse yourself in the arctic archipelago of Lofoten and experience unique wildlife, traditional villages, and overlooking mountains.

You will sail from Svolvær at 9:00 am with several stops at Henningsvær, Balstad, Nusfjord, Reine, and Å during your trip. Cruise along Lofoten in one day or hop off at the different stops and discover some of the unknown treasures of the region. Your expert English-speaking guide will give you an introduction to the local history and culture of Lofoten. View some brief documentaries and presentations which provide more information about the region, wildlife, and local culture. The crew onboard will also provide you with plenty of suggestions for many activities available at each stop.

In Henningsvær, you can take a lovely kayaking tour around the harbor of Henningsvær and the surrounding small islands. Alternatively, stop by KaviarFactory and Galleri Lofoten to view both contemporary art and paintings dating back to the turn of the last century. You can also have the "Full Steam" experience, with storytelling from the Viking age to the mid-1900s. In Ballstad, you can try snorkeling or diving and discover sea urchins, starfish, and crabs.

In Nusfjord, you can walk through the beautiful Nusfjord Arctic Resort cuddled amongst a group of overlooking mountains. Watersports are also available. In Reine, you can hike on the most famous picturesque route in the Lofoten Islands, the Reinebringen. Enjoy beautiful views of the fishing villages of Reine, Sakrisøy, and Hamnøy. Lastly, see the southernmost town of Lotofen at Å. Visit the lovely village bakery, which dates back more than a century.

The return journey takes place each afternoon at 5:30 pm so that you can jump back on the boat on the same day or the next day if you prefer.
