Overview

Efipoi guesthouse is a traditional residential stonebuilt building, dating back to the 18th century, fully renovated in 2008. The guesthouse has been designed as a place suitable and convenient for small and larger groups. It exhibits four self-contained apartments with all modern amenities available and yet decorated and furnished with high-value antique furniture and paintings.

All rooms have access to either a large paved backyard overlooking the village of Pinakates and the mountain or a spacious balcony with amazing views of the Pelion slopes. The kitchen in each one of the apartments is fully equipped with a dining table, and household utensils and appliances, Living rooms in all apartments are cozy, exhibiting stone-built fireplaces.

There are several and exciting activities our guests can decide to participate in while staying in our guesthouse. We can provide information on how to get in touch with the organizers or alternatively on request we can organize thematic tours and activities for our guests for an extra cost.

◾ Skiing in Pelion
Pelion ski resort is located on the northern side of the Agriolrfkes peak and at an altitude of 1200 to 1471 m. There are five lifts with 12 km in total skiing slopes. Pelion ski resort is in operation usually during January and February, depending on weather conditions.

◾ Canyoning
In the eastern slopes of Pelion, several steep gorges are offering great opportunities for canyoning. There are many outdoors companies offering amazing Canyoning experiences.

◾ Hiking
Hiking is one of the most popular activities in Pelion, as walking on its cobblestone paths is the most exciting way to get an authentic feel of the mountain.

◾ Horse riding
Horse riding in Pelion is suitable for beginners as well as for experienced guests, with short and long trails available ranging from one hour to three days. Information is available at our guest house.

◾ Cycling
Pelion offers an endless web of forest trails and rural streets winding through dense chestnut trees forests and olive groves. It is one of the best ways to explore Pelion.

Visit Milies, the village next to Pinakates (it's a beautiful walking distance) and the starting point of the legendary steam train of Pelion.
Visit the iron bridge in Milies constructed by Evaristo de Chirico, the chief engineer and mastermind of the Pelion Steam Train and father of the surrealist painter Giorgio de Chirico.
Visit the beautiful beaches of Pelion on the eastern side of the peninsula among them, Plaka, Mylopotamos, Papa Nero, Fakistra, and Damouchari.
