Description - What to expect

Start your 4-hour Bucharest biking in the old city, to learn about the origin of the city and Romanian civilization. You will visit 5 to 6 highlights that will help you understand how the city grew up. During the Communist era, the old city area was decimated and overtaken by pompous urban projects. Today it is one of the poorest areas in Bucharest and is mostly inhabited by gypsies.

Ride to the monumental Parliament Palace, and learn about the life of Romanians under the Ceausescu regime. Discover buildings dating from the golden age of Bucharest of the 19th and the early 20th century and see landmarks and monuments from the time when Bucharest was known as Little Paris.
