Description - What to expect

Start your full-day Dracula's Castle tour with a convenient pick-up from your hotel and set off to Sinaia driving through the scenic Prahova Valley. Upon arrival visit the Peles Castle, the former summer residence of the Romanian Royal Family and emblematic of the Romanian Royalty. Spend some time admiring the natural elegance of its architecture.

Continue to the 300 years old Sinaia Monastery, the historic soul of the city of Sinaia and a precious monument of Romanian Art. Then, drive to Bran to visit the famous medieval Dracula’s Castle built as a fortress for the citizens of Brasov with a view to defend the city. Prince Vlad used the Castle as the general headquarters during his raids in Transylvania.

For many years, it has been an impressive medieval art museum. Surrounded by an aura of mystery and legend and perched high atop a 200-foot-high rock, Bran Castle owes its fame to its imposing towers and turrets as well as to the myth created around Bram Stoker’s Dracula. After the visit, spend some leisure time in the souvenir market.

Finally, drive to the city of Brasov. Fringed by the peaks of the Southern Carpathian Mountains and resplendent with gothic, baroque, and renaissance architecture, Brasov is one of the most visited places in Romania. Enjoy a walking tour through the old town center, including the Black Church, the Council Square, the Hircher House, and the baroque-style building from the Austro-Hungarian times. Start driving back to Bucharest in the late afternoon.
