Overview
The Red Tractor Farm is an organic farm and guesthouse. We produce wine, olive oil, acorn flour and other acorn-based products. Activities are part of your stay in our unique farm and include among else walking and trekking tours, wine tasting and work on the farm depending on the season of the year.
About the property
Set amidst olive groves and vineyards, the Red Tractor Farm is within walking distance of the beach and the cafes and restaurants of Korissia. We produce organic olive oil and wine from the rare 'mavrouka' grape as well as marmalades, chutneys and other condiments. The Farm is also the home of Marcie Mayer's Acorn initiative: A unique project processing acorns from Kea's ancient oak forest into flour, cookies, energy bars and more! Our guesthouse features a fully equipped kitchen with an oven and a large refrigerator. It can accommodate up to 18 people in large self-catering studios, standard double rooms, or other combinations. Studios feature verandahs overlooking the olive grove and a private back garden with a sitting area.Optional things-to-do/Activities
From October to April we personally lead tailor-made hiking tours of various durations and levels, from short nature walks to longer treks covering the entire length of the island and more! Hiking may include areas of special cultural or botanical interest, Byzantine chapels, archaeological sites, etc.During the months of September /October guests may observe or participate in acorn gathering and processing.

During the months of November/December guests may also participate in the olive harvest and the pressing of the olives in the press.
