Description - What to expect
Nairobi National Park Safari Itinerary◾ Giraffe Center: 2 hours
After a pick-up from your hotel, the Nairobi National Park Safari tour begins with a visit to the giraffe center. Here you can see the magnificent creatures and learn about measures to protect them as well as more about conservation and education. To cap the visit, you will have the opportunity to feed them and maybe get a giraffe kiss!
◾ David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust: 1 hour
Head to the Elephant Orphanage, which is only open for a short period each day from 11.00 am to 12:00. Here you will learn more about the baby elephants and what led them to be orphans. You will get more information on raising them and the efforts being made to re-introduce them back to their natural environment.
◾ Nairobi National Park: 3 hours
After lunch, you will head to the Nairobi National Park through the main gate for a 3-hour game drive. Your guide will show you as much variety of animals as possible. If you're lucky, you may spot the rhinos and lions getting ready for the evening. You will be using a safari van with a pop-up roof for easier game viewing.
At around 5 pm, you will depart the park and head back to your hotel within the Nairobi area.
