This itinerary covers a quite remote stretch of Maganisi’s west coastline. Meet your guide at Ag. Ioannis Beach for this full-day Lefkada kayaking to Meganisi Island.After a short safety briefing and paddle practice, follow your guide at a casual pace to explore amazing landscapes, secluded beaches and stunning rock formations. The highlight of the Lefkada kayaking is the famous ‘Papanikolis’ sea cave used during WW2 as a hiding area by a Greek submarine.
You will be able to enter the cave and after landing on the beach enjoy a refreshing swim. Continue paddling to a complex of smaller sea caves and enjoy yet another stop for lunch and swimming before you start paddling for your return journey back to Ag. Ioannis beach.
