Enjoy a unique Snowshoeing and Ice Fishing experience in the arctic from Tromso downtown. Put on your snowshoes and walk out into the winter wonderland towards the frozen lake and admire the pristine landscape of Tamok Valley.

Description - What to expect

Your ice fishing experience starts with a pick-up Outside Magic Ice Bar, Kaigata 4. After 75 minutes of drive through the spectacular arctic landscape, you will reach Camp Tamok which is the start and endpoint of your activity.

When you arrive you will receive thermal suits, gloves, boots, and hats to keep you warm. Put on your snowshoes and enjoy a pleasant walk to a nearby frozen lake to have a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Once you reach the lake you will drill a hole through the ice and you be shown how to fish. Enjoy a cup of hot chocolate while fishing, sit back, and relax. Hopefully, you will catch plenty of trout and Arctic char during the 90 minutes experience.

Any fish you catch will either be prepared on the spot or back at the wilderness camp in the Sami lavvu (Sami herdsmen's tent) depending on the weather. You will taste your self-caught catch of the day and enjoy a hot meal before your departure for your trip back to Tromsø.

1) Cancel 30 days before the activity for a full refund
2) Cancel 30-15 days before the activity for a 75% refund
3) Cancel 14-8 days before the activity for a 50% refund
4) If you cancel within 7 days before the activity no refund will be made
